A Happy New Year

Beloved friend,

I thought to write down the verses that the Spirit poured in me, for the most common thoughts we struggle with, so you can truly have a Happy New Year! These verses are inspired from the Holy Bible and I am sure they will encourage you.

When you think of..

a. Money
Finances keep us worried!
The verse below is a simple rule that can prevent you from debts and help you meet your finances with honesty!

Remember, Proverbs 13:11 – Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

b. Parenting
Troubled with how to get your child on track?
It’s never too late, start right away. The way they should go is Christ. Keep them Christ oriented and you will see a drastic difference in their behavior.

Remember, Proverbs 22:6 – Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

c. Family
Conflicts in your family?
Love cures. God is love. I pray that you are strengthened in Christ and covered in His Love to solve family issues by avoiding arguments that are harmful and decisions that lead to permanent damage.

Remember, Ephesians 3:16-19 – I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

d. Workplace
No promotion?
Not able to enjoy the task at hand? Not happy with your colleagues behaviour? Many more.
Remind yourself that God gives His children the best and He has thought about the future even if you don’t see it.
He knows what is right for you in the long run. Trust His timing and strategy.

Remember, Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

e. Future
What next? Which career route do I take?
There is a lot you can do when God gives you His peace. You start to understand better, things start to get clearer and you will be able to make your heart oriented to a particular decision rather than wavering.

Remember, Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

f. Sickness
The devil has his way to bind us in sickness so we don’t grow closer to God Father just think about ourselves.
So pray first.
Realise that He is the Great Healer (the best Physician). Before you run to take an appointment pray to the Maker of every cell of your body.

Remember, James 5:14-15 – Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

g. Food
The basic needs will be provided to those who seek God.That is His promise!
There are so many out there who seek men and we see that they may or may not get what they ask for. That’s why His Word says to seek Him because He is the Provider. He is a sure Giver.

Remember, Matthew 6:31-32 – So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

NO MATTER WHAT! REMEMBER TO

*Be Grateful
Psalm 103:2-5 – Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Count His blessings and name them one by one! Be amazed with what the Lord has done!

*Pray and Believe
Mark 11:24 – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

He likes to talk to you. That’s true from the day He created you.
He is not looking for materialistic prayers He is looking for genuine conversation. He is the best Lover, the best late night shoulder and the best companion when you have the roughest day.
Oh! His touch soothes all the broken hearted.
Be with Him and He will dine with you.
