The cross was not just a temporary fix but a forever open display of God telling us we are one with Him.

We all have heard the story of the prodigal son dozens of times.  Our elders/pastors always focus on how dumb the son was and how terrible his sin was. But what strikes me the most in Luke chapter 15 is "Heart of Good Daddy". 

Forgiveness does not come in installments but is given to us as a gift! You have been completely and eternally forgiven on account of Jesus. You need to settle this in your heart otherwise you’ll be tossed and turned by every mixed-up teaching.

This New Year many of us might have decided to stand by new resolutions. Friends rather than pursuing principles, concepts, or even good character qualities, our ultimate goal, this year should be to focus more on the Person of Jesus.

God has forgiven and forgotten our sins through Jesus Christ. God says "NO MORE!!!” Today, when we go to Church, God's marvelous light does not reveal how sinful we are, but how righteous we are in Christ!!
